The Montebello isn't just another road bike. It offers special features and design elements for riders who want to cover longer distances than traditional long-distance rides. Constructed from Ritchey's proprietary triple-butted Logic steel tubing, the Montebello features a higher stack height, a longer wheelbase, and a lower bottom bracket than its Road Logic counterpart.

This geometry choice ensures a comfortable and stable ride—ideal if you want to experience both sunset and sunrise from the saddle. Practical features of the frame include attachment points for fenders and a rack, which many Ritchey fans have requested.

The frameset also includes the new carbon Brevet fork, developed specifically for this model. Offering tire clearance of up to 40 mm without fenders—or 36 mm with fenders—this fork features dedicated mounting points for a porteur or lowrider rack on the fork legs, as well as a crown hole for rack lights. New to Ritchey is internal cable routing for a hub dynamo, ideal for adventurers who ride after dark. Of course, the Brevet fork features the signature 1-1/8-inch straight head tube, ensuring a precise yet comfortable ride.
