The 720mm wide handlebar and the stable ahead stem allow for easy handling on bumpy terrain.
The tapered headset design provides greater frame stiffness in the steering head area. A tapered fork distributes the load in the cone area over a larger cross-section, thus providing greater safety margin.

Since this is a hardtail, a suspension fork is essential. Under the cockpit is a RockShox Judy with 100mm of travel, which features a lockout and preload adjustment.

The 27-speed Shimano Alivio drivetrain gives you a wide gear ratio. For smooth and fast shifting, you also get the EZ Fire Plus brake/shift lever combo from Shimano Acera. A must for every mountain bike – disc brakes! To ensure good grip, the Sprint Apolon is equipped with Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic brakes and 180/160mm brake rotors. Disc brakes are the right choice for frequent riders, as the rim flanks won't wear out due to braking. This saves you from having to replace the wheels and only requires new brake rotors in addition to the brake pads. Disc brakes reveal their greatest advantage in bad weather conditions, such as rain and dirt, where they work better than conventional rim brakes.

The Apolon is fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam tires in a 57mm version. These tires offer excellent all-around performance and are suitable for anyone who likes to switch between road and off-road riding on their mountain bike.

With the 29ers you roll faster and can also fit “normal” 28-inch tires in a thinner version on the rims if you don’t have to go off-road that often.

This bike is delivered 98% fully assembled. Only the handlebars and pedals need to be attached. Final assembly, ready for use, must be performed by a qualified professional.
