If you are looking for an urban bike and one gear is not enough for you, then the fixie or singlespeed is not suitable for you, but hopefully the SPRIA is!

This bike features a maintenance-free Shimano Nexus 3-speed hub gear system, and no unnecessary bells and whistles to save weight. Tektro's board-mounted V-brakes offer better stopping power than expensive dual-pivot brakes or heavy mechanical disc brakes. As is typical for bikes with hub gears, there's no coaster brake, which is a definite advantage if you're not comfortable with those brakes.

If you ever decide to make the bike all-weather-ready, that shouldn't be a problem, as the frame and fork have mounting holes for permanently mounted mudguards. A rear rack could also be retrofitted.

To further save weight, the SPRIA comes with a rigid fork instead of a suspension fork. The lower weight isn't the only advantage – a rigid fork transfers your muscle power to the road more effectively. This is because the suspension fork absorbs some of your power.

The 42mm wide Schwalbe Road Cruiser tires ensure sufficient grip and comfort on uneven roads and bumpy bike paths.

If you plan to commute to work by bike and don't want to wear special cycling-specific shorts, you don't have to worry with the UR.2820. It features a full-surface chain guard, which reduces maintenance and provides significantly better protection from dirt.

With the SPRIA you get a simple urban bike that has the potential to be expanded into a complete city bike.

This bike is delivered 92% fully assembled. Only the handlebars, front tire, and pedals need to be attached. Final assembly, ready for riding, must be performed by a qualified professional.
