The legendary Ascent is back, more adaptable than ever! Inspired by life's experiences, the new Ritchey Ascent invites you to create your own life experiences on unexplored passes, winding roads, and endless trails. The adventurous spirit of the original Ascent remains intact, while its adaptability is enhanced with modern features and many custom details. Tom Ritchey loves to experience all kinds of cycling adventures. He designed this latest Ascent version as an all-around adventure bike so that others can share the same thrill of adventure while enjoying the famous Ritchey riding experience.
Trail-oriented adventures with 27.5-inch wheels and MTB handlebars? Long stretches on the road with 29-inch wheels and drop bars? The riding options are endless on the new Ritchey Ascent.
The frame is TIG-welded from heat-treated, triple-butted Ritchey Logic steel tubing and features rack and fender mounts, as well as a multi-purpose mount under the down tube. The steel fork also offers multi-purpose rack, fender, and dynamo light mounts. Other features of the Ritchey Ascent frameset include post-mount disc brake compatibility, Boost spacing, and a replaceable seat clamp.
